In the last 28 years, Carbono has built his history showing that it is necessary to believe and invest. Since São Bernardo do Campo Base foundation in 2001, the company became a reference in the sector and started to participate among the leading distributors of chemical products and hydrocarbon solvents in the country. Besides facilities investments, company success is founded on the valorization of human being and on strategic planning that comprises an administration focusing on Social and Environmental Responsibility. Among approximately 80 collaborators there are high-level specialists who assure quality of the products supplied and technical support on each sale.

ISO and Prodir Certifications assure safety and respect to the environment, as well as other tools developed by Carbono itself. Among these, are pointed out the insurance covering environmental damage during transportation and storage of chemical products, available without costs to Carbono customers, as well as the Basic Operational Information manual.

With segments of paint and varnish producers and glue, adhesive, resin, pesticide and rubber manufacturers as its main activity areas, Carbono has expanded its horizons and is present in 32 markets. Overall, there are more than 2800 registered customers, which generated a profit of about R$ 135 million in 2005.

In 2005, the company reached 60 thousands m³/ton of chemical products and solvents marketed. There are more than 10 lines of products, amounting to a portfolio with about 250 products. All this operation was performed at a base settled in 18 thousand m² area, with 35 tanks with a storage capacity of 3 thousand m³ and 2 tanks for product mixture.
