On June 1st, 2009, Carbono transitioned from the ISO 9001:2000 standard to the updated 2008 version, having first run a diagnosis of its current QMS status with a focus on adequacy and compliance.

Qualitative customer service has always been one of Carbono’s core concerns. Carbono therefore implemented its Quality Management System and is ISO 9001:20080-certified for organic solvents and chemicals distribution. ISO 9001:2008 is the updated version of ISO 9001:2000 and further prescribes synergy with environmental management concepts.

Because distribution cannot be considered in isolation, Carbono is also certified before PRODIR - Responsible Distribution Process, whose main focus is to make sure that the process is carried out with safety, workers’ health and environmental protection and conservation in mind. This lets Carbono be certain that it is on the right path in the pursuit of assuring the well being of its workers, customers and the community.
